Office Hours: Our office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If the office is closed, our telephone system allows you to leave a voicemail.
As a practical matter, there is usually someone in the office by 7:00 am and until 6:00 pm. Additionally, someone will be in the office on many Saturday mornings. Don’t hesitate to call at any of these times to reach us.
Messages: Each individual has a personal email and voicemail box in which messages can be left if they are unavailable to take your call, or if you call after hours. There is also a general voicemail box.
Engagement Letters: Why do we have engagement letters? Primarily, it helps to confirm and clarify what we expect from each other; however, it is also a requirement of our insurance carrier. If you ever have any questions about the engagement letter, please call us so that we can discuss them.
Invoices: We generally invoice on a monthly basis or at the end of an engagement, and for ongoing projects we may provide a progress bill. We provide two types of invoices. For tax returns and other specific projects where we have estimated a flat fee, our invoice will describe the services and products rendered and state the fee. The second type of invoice is for consulting services. This invoice will describe the services rendered, the date, the time incurred, the person rendering the services, and the cost of the services. It is our intention that you be provided the information needed for a clear understanding of the charges for our services.
